Who am I?

Welcome to my blog where I share devotions which I read, odd tech news, some programming articles and other items which I find interesting.

I am a redeemed child of God.

My faith is crucial to me.  I am a member of Redemption Ev. Lutheran Church in Milwaukee, WI which belongs to the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).

I am a computer programmer with over 20 years experience in Cobol and JCL on the mainframe.  I am teaching myself HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other languages to broaden my horizons.

I enjoy listening to Contemporary Christian music, smooth jazz, and many tech podcasts.

I also like reading Christian fiction by authors such as Ted Dekker, Tosca Lee as well as other novels by Dan Brown and Mark Russinovich.

I also enjoy watching movies such as “Boyhood,” “Project Almanac,” “God’s Not Dead” and “Interstellar.”  For TV programs I like “Duck Dynasty,” “Scorpion,” “This Is Us,” “Mr. Robot,” and “Suits.”

A bit more about me personally, I am an adoptee who has by God’s grace found my birth family and keep in touch with them.  I have lived in Wisconsin my whole life.

Feel free to share and comment on my posts.  Please keep your comments clean and respectful.  If you’d like to contact me, please use the form.

God’s blessings on your day!
