Jesus said that if we loved Him, we would keep His commandments (John 14:15). He didn’t say we would go to church, read the Bible, or do good deeds. We would obey Him. Our obedience is a direct reflection of our love for God. In this message, Dr. Stanley encourages us not to take Christ’s sacrifice on the cross for granted. Instead, we ought to commit to obeying Him at every opportunity.
