A good article about why programming is difficult.
Many times we don’t have the time needed to go back and learn from our problems.
The testing for the implementation went great, done in a few hours. When it came time to run the same process/programs in production, there were problems which came up some of which should have been caught in review and others were unexpected.
I was able to document a timeline of what happened and will hopefully have a chance before the next similar project implementation to make some improvements, but I’m already working on another project.
