I’d have to seriously question any “televangelist” who wants donations to go toward their own use.

I listen to Joyce Meyer and if I ever heard her make such a request I think I’d have to really examine if I should be listening to her ministry.

I know it takes money to run these ministries and spread the Word of God, but I’d prefer that the majority of what I give actually goes into the ministry, not into the televangelist’s own pocket.
