> Recent statistics on professing Christians and their giving habits reveal that, on average, Christians give about 2.3% of their income to the church. By way of comparison, during the Great Depression (1929-1939), Christians were giving about 3.3% of their incomes to the church. And if that’s not troubling enough, consider the fact that 33% of church members report that they give nothing at all to the church.
