I’ve started working through the curriculum for Free Code Camp again after starting it about a year ago and I must say I am impressed at the many improvements that have been made to it.

I had stopped when I was about half way through the HTML and CSS unit and am already through that, plus responsive design with Bootstrap and am almost done with the jQuery module, which you actually learn before JavaScript.

With Free Code Camp you work at your own pace through a series of coding challenges that reinforce the material you are learning.

They offer many channels to get help and support from people also going through the course from Facebook groups with for the whole “camp” and for local areas.  They also have Gitter chat rooms, Slack channels and other online forums.

It really is free, except for the time and effort that you are willing to put into it to learn.
