Our Daily Bread | Daily Devotionals.
Another good devotional today.
The tongue is untamable and so we need to consciously be aware of what we say whether vocally or in type.
But with God’s help, all things are possible. If you truly want to tame your tongue ask God for help in that area and firmly believe that he will do it and it will be done. God doesn’t want anything half-hearted. We need to truly desire it.
No Source Signal – The Upper Room.
It is good to have individual Bible study, but we were made to be social creatures and so it is even better to go to church and group Bible study.
They help to strengthen our faith, nourish our souls and if you have questions on what was discussed you can easily ask the pastor or study leader questions.
Time of Grace – Blog – Post.
It amazes me how God always uses people to execute His divine will. We are here on Earth for a reason. We may not know why. But we can ask for God to guide us according to His will and direct our hands, feet, tongue and whole body for that matter to be instruments for Him.
New: Share to your favorite apps: Evernote, Tumblr, LinkedIn, & more | YouVersion.
I love using the Youversion Bible app. It is the app I go to most of the time.
I also like the Glo Bible. It has many nice features and links to the Youversion app. Glo is what I use to post my Bible notes during sermons and Bible studies. Another nice feature of Glo is that, for me at least, since I was one of the first users of Glo I still have access to the NIV 1984 edition text, which I greatly prefer to the latest NIV 2011 edition.
The Sacred Ache: No Tear Forgotten – FaithGateway.
A good devotion showing that our tears and trouble do not go unnoticed by God.
Though we may feel alone and the God is ignoring us, He is with us and knows us. He knows the number of hairs on our head. He will “give us beauty for ashes”.
Devotion – February 16, 2015 | Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
A good devotion based on the same text Pastor had for his sermon this week. If you look for me on Twitter, you’ll see the notes I took on yesterday’s sermon.
Joyce Meyer Radio Podcast : Self-Righteousness – Part 1.
A good message this morning from Joyce Meyer on Self-righteousness.
